Where I’m From:
I'm a North Dakota girl. I was born in Breckenridge, MN and spent my early years on the Western side of the state in Tioga, ND. My family moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area in 1986 and we eventually made West Fargo our home.
My Education and Industry Experience:
I completed my BA in Accounting at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. (Go Dragons!) I've also completed several insurance courses earning my AINS designation. I started my first position with Concorde in 2006 in the accounting department. Since then, I've had several different roles in the organization, most notably I am a retired Senior Underwriter for Personal Lines, the former "Mobile Home Queen."
While I love the personal interaction with agents everyday that came with the underwriting role, I was intrigued with the technical side of our systems. In my current role of Systems Analyst I get to use my underwriting knowledge and experience and apply it to the constant advances of technology we experience in the insurance industry.
My Personal Interests and Hobbies:
My most important interest is keeping my elementary aged children alive and happy. After that I would say Football, "Geek TV" and full involvement in celebrating holidays take up my free time. I'm very excited to see my new Las Vegas Raiders this fall and am still mourning the end of Game of Thrones.
